I am located in the Kinkazan mountaintop, and it is said that a fort was got in 1201 by Kamakura Shogunate butler Yukimasa Nikaido. Gifu castle rising on a rocky mountain often appears on a list stage of the history. Dosan Saito and Nobunaga Oda assumed it a castle for the age of civil strife and inflated an ambition of world unification. However, because grandchild Hidenobu of Nobunaga supported the west armed forces in the case of a preliminary skirmish of Sekigahara battle for 1600 years, I attacked it and was broken into by the east armed forces and fell after a fierce battle. In the next year, Gifu castle, the abandoned castle neighbor castle tower, the oar were moved by Kano Castle. It is revived in 1956, and a current castle is three levels of steel reinforced concrete construction the fourth floor structure. | |
