It is a world heritage of Nara, the ridge-end tile of the east tower of Yakushi-ji Temple. I imitate the face of the ogre in a talisman against evil and the one of the position tiles for the purpose of the decoration. The chaitya which Yakushiji prayed for the ill recovery of the Her Majesty Empress Uno Sagara that the Emperor Tenmu was the later Emperor Jitou for 680 years and founded in the ground of Asuka. It is appointed in world's cultural heritage as cultural assets of ancient city Nara.
